ISLAMABAD - Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says projects being executed under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will benefit the less developed and backward areas of the country. In a statement Sunday, he said no province is being deprived of its share in the project.

Ahsan Iqbal said construction work on the western route of the corridor is underway with full swing, and Gwadar-Quetta road will be completed before the stipulated time. Commenting on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister's decision to move the court on CPEC issue, the Planning Minister said it will create problems for the province itself.

He said foreign investment is not attracted through cases in courts; however, if the KP government wants to get satisfaction by moving the court, it cannot be prevented from it. NNI
