The Punjab government has notified new timings for public and private schools due to severe wave of smog in the entire province.

All the public and private sector educational institutions in the Punjab will observe school timings 9:00am to 2:30pm from Monday to Thursday and on Saturdays, according to the notification.

On Friday, the school timings will be from 9:00am to 12:15pm.

These timings, states the notification, will be observed with immediate effect till further orders.
