MIRPURKHAS - Assistant director Anti- corruption Establishment (ACE) has sped up pace of the inquiry into the alleged unregistered housing schemes in taluka Mirpurkhas and taluka Hussain Bux Marri as statements of various revenue department officials were recorded on Monday. Besides that, record of the suspected housing schemes was also seized.
Reliable sources said that on the directives of ACE chairman, inquiry had been launched by Assistant Director (ACE) Mirpurkhas Malik Allah Ditta few weeks back.
In this connection, he, along with judicial magistrate, had raided the offices of mukhtiarkars Mirpurkhas and taluka Hussain Bux Marri and took into possession the official record of the suspected housing schemes and later summoned both mukhtiarkars and tapedars to his office.
Sources said that Mukhtiarkar Mirpurkhas Kishor Kumar, Mukhtiarkar taluka Hussain Bux Marri Qyyoom Leghari, tapedars Oam Parkash and Niaz Shah have recorded their statements and have also submitted the official records of some of the suspected housing schemes.
When contacted, Inquiry Officer Malik Allah Ditta told that Margallah Town, Yaseenabad, Gateway, Jannat City, Sardar village of Deh 120 and Mamoon Ji of Deh Khuth were some of the housing societies in question. He further said that he was also checking the record of several other housing schemes whose owners had failed to fulfill the legal requirement of registration. He further said that there was a need for recording statements of owners of several other housing schemes for which he had summoned them to his office.
