The Skardu market is full of substandard essential goods and the administration has turned a deaf ear to public complaints.
Apart from the supply of substandard eatable items, LPG has also been targeted by the profiting agency. The LPG of the lowest quality is being supplied to Skardu with less weight in calendars.
The quality of calendars are not checked and the excessive price is charged which reached Rs 2500 per 13 kg calendar. It is pertinent to point out that in winter that the temperature touches below minus 20. The aggressive cutting of trees has added environmental issues.
The supply of coal and gas in sufficient numbers can stop cutting of trees like apricot and others.
I request the CS GB to ensure proper checking of LPG agencies to stop their ultra motives and highhandedness related to price and quality.
