peshawar - Youth International Conclave (YIC) organised Pakistan’s largest and one of the Asia’s largest hybrid leadership & entrepreneurship with the title of ‘YIC Leadership & Entrepreneurship Summit.’
Youth International Conclave recognises the need for collaboration between entrepreneurs and information technology experts. There is a limit to what entrepreneurs can achieve alone. Realising that leadership in entrepreneurship have a role to play in promoting innovation and technology, all stakeholders in both the business and information technology sectors will need to collaborate so that relationship can be synergized. As the world becomes globalized and digitalized, the relationship between entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation and technology cannot be overemphasized. Good communication is necessary to allow efficient flow of information in a business. Technology provides multiple channels for businesses to communicate both internally and externally. Whether it’s setting up virtual workspaces where employees can interact and develop ideas, or connecting to international businesses through the use of video conferencing, technology can be used as an outlet which allows businesses to collect feedback from their customers, which can used to improve or alter a product to suit the needs of the customers better.
Physically the summit was organized in Peshawar with having 630 attendees from across Pakistan. For virtual edition 500 participants were selected to attend the summit out of over 4000 applications. So youth from 54 countries participated in the Virtual Edition of YIC Leadership & Entrepreneurship Summit 2021.
Youth International Conclave is an Organisation currently working in 31 countries founded by Engineer Umar Farooq Gul back in 2019 for the purpose to connect youth from all over the World and provide them opportunities by giving trainings and by organising different summits/conferences for them so that they can develop their entrepreneurship, leadership and digital skills.
YIC is an organisation committed to youth development programmes. The YIC is established with the aim of bringing potential youths across the globe for them to connect with each other in various fields such as cultural, technical, education, learning platform and business. YIC’s effort is to organise various programmes and generate opportunities for youths to fulfil the needs of today’s society and birth tomorrow’s leaders. Moreover, in implementing the vision of “Bridging youth leadership across the World,” YIC believes that every person deserves the opportunity to learn new things and generate the potential that is hidden in them.
During this single day summit two workshops have been organised with the title of ‘Leveraging your network to grow the net worth’ lead by Sidra Jalil and another workshop with the title of ‘Goal setting & planning’ which was led by Syeda Yumna Hasany.
Another interesting activity organised at this summit was with the title of ‘Startup Roundtable’ in which start-ups from different incubation centres like National Expansion Plan of NICs (NEP NIC), National Incubation Centre, Durshal Start-ups, a project of KP Information Technology Board participated to discuss the ecosystem problems and the way how to solve and bridge that Gap.
Eng Umar Farooq Gul, president of Youth International Conclave, said that youth actually need to attend this type of summit to get motivation from the successful people and in this way the youth can ask directly questions from the successful people and know about their journey.
Umar Farooq is an engineer by profession and an entrepreneur by passion started his this entrepreneurial journey back in 2016 and won different awards and done a lot of work for the community.
