LAHORE - An Australian external examiner of PhD students of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) has announced donation of his examination fees sum of Rs 26,000 ($300) to flood-affected people. External examiner Prof Dr Michael Wallach, Institute for the Biotechnology of Infectious / Parasitic Diseases, University of Technology, Sydney, Australia, has evaluating one PhD thesis and informed the UVAS in writing that his remuneration should be used for relief activities in flood-affected areas in Punjab. UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Nawaz has highly appreciated the gesture of Australian examiner.
