LAHORE (PR) - Claude Toudic has said that Pakistan was facing a major challenge in the wake of devastating floods and to cope with the situation it was in dire need of international community help. Therefore the global players should play their role for the early rehabilitation of Internally Displaced Persons. He lauded the tireless efforts of Punjab Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz for the catastrophe-hit people. Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif welcomed the donation and appreciated the spirit shown by Claude Toudic. He said that flood had caused mass devastation and the government alone cannot do the needful therefore private sector should extend maximum cooperation. The former Chairman of Pakistan Poultry Association and LCCI former Senior Vice President Abdul Basit, in his address, assured his full support to the Chief Minister for this noble cause. He said that though the poultry industry was also a victim to the flood devastation but it would leave no stone unturned for the help of their flood-hit brothers.
