LAHORE - The Punjab Food Authority on Sunday discarded 28,700kg unwholesome food after the samples collected from various companies failed to meet the quality standards. PFA Director General Muhammad Usman said the confiscated material was discarded as per eco-friendly policy of the authority to avoid environmental pollution. The authority also discarded 17,300kg spices of various brands and 11,400kg sauces and ketchup.
