LAHORE - Pakistani duo of Hussnain Ali Rizwan and Haider Ali Rizwan continued their good show in the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) Bahrain Tennis Championship 2021 as they thrashed the Egypt-Phillipine pair in the doubles’ quarterfinals played in Bahrain.
The ATF event is being organized by Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) and is being participated by players from different regions and countries. Pakistan’s Hussnain Ali Rizwan & Haider Ali Rizwan (LGS Paragon Lahore) also did well in the doubles event, where they crushed the Egypt-Phillipine pair of Hamza Moussa and Clark Sayago with a score of 6-0, 6-0. The Pakistani duo didn’t allow their opponents play freely and outclassed them in every department to win the encounter without conceding a single point.
Hussnain and Haider will now take on the Pak-Egypt pair of Hamza Ali Rizwan and Ahmad Ibrahim, who outsmarted the pair Bahraini pair of Ahmed Alsayed and Hashim Altoobli with a score of 6-1 and 6-4. Both Hamza and Ahmad started the match well and won the first set 6-1. They faced tough resistance in the second set before winning it 6-4.
Earlier in the singles, Rizwan brothers, Haider Ali, Hussnain Ali and Hamza Ali, made way to the quarterfinals and will compete against their respective opponents today (Thursday). They are hopeful of doing well against their opponents and keen to win the singles and doubles titles for Pakistan.
