It is no use saying that as an old time PPP supporter I feel deeply let down by the policies adopted by Mr Asif Zardari. Given the group of people surrounding him, I do not have any expectations from this new-look PPP. The thing that has disappointed me the most is that there is not even a single person in the party hierarchy who has the moral courage to speak the truth to him. The party leader goes back on a public pledge, not once, not twice, but thrice but nobody's conscience is disturbed. I never thought things could get worse than they were under PML (Q) government.
