KARACHI (PR) - Etihad Airways is to provide an additional 24 flights during the holy month of Ramadan from Pakistan to Jeddah and add special flights to Madina Munawara. The extra services would operate between 1 September and 2 Oct and build on the 28 return flights every week to its Saudi destinations of Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.  Etihad Airways' CE James Hogan said: "The additional flights from Abu Dhabi to Jeddah will cater for the great demand from Umra travelers during the holy month of Ramadan and will enhance significantly the long-haul travel options to the Muslim communities throughout our network with a short transfer time in Abu Dhabi on many routes." Etihad's extra flights to Jeddah and Madina will be operated by two-cabin Airbus A330-200. The connecting flight from Karachi to Jeddah EY222 departs at 06:10 Tuesday mornings and the connecting flight from Abu Dhabi to Jeddah, EY2361 departs at 11:05 same day. Etihad Airways also has connecting flights from Islamabad to Jeddah on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and on Monday and Friday from Lahore.
