LAHORE - The PPP and PML-N workers wrestled with one another while chanting slogans for their Presidential candidates on the premises of Punjab Assembly here on Saturday. Senior leaders of both parties failed to stop their workers to wrangle. However the fight came to end when law enforcement agencies intervened into the situation. According to details, before Pakistan People's Party Co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari was elected as the next President of Pakistan, workers of PPP and PML-N massed on the premises of Provincial Assembly. They started full-throated slogans in favour of their Presidential candidates to keep their moral high. Past friends who turned to be foes were not ready to see one another. An eyewitness revealed that slogan race started between workers when some of them tried to dominate one another. PML-N workers raised slogans that "Nawaz Sharif sher he baqi sab hair pher hai" while PPP workers chanted slogans "Asif Zardri sab per bhari". The situation was heated up when both groups came face to face. They started punching each other.
