KARACHI Defending champions Ali Sports are just two steps from reclaiming the 23rd Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan Twenty20 Cricket title as they have moved to the semi-final after their convincing 88-run win over Qasmi Cricket Club at the AKG Ground here the other day. Qasmi Cricket Club failed to chase the target of 176 in the last quarter-final as they slumped to 87 for eight with Talha Fahim top scoring with 22 off 38 balls. Off-spinner Iqbal Shaikh bowled accurately to capture two wickets for just 12 runs in his quota of four overs. Batting first, Ali Sports amassed 175 for eight. Shahid Qambrani hammered five boundaries in making 41 of 24 deliveries. Pak Korangi CC will meet Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) in the second semi-final on Monday.
