LAHORE District Coordination Officer Sajjad Ahmad Bhutta hoisted the national flag at a ceremony held to celebrate countrys Defence Day at Jinnah Hall here on Monday. The Day was celebrated in a simple manner in the wake of flood disaster and fresh wave of terrorism. Addressing the ceremony, the DCO asked the officers and volunteers of Civil Defence to ensure foolproof security arrangements in Sasta Ramazan Bazaars till Eidul Fitr in order to create a sense of security among the citizens. He said that a list of personal details of volunteers must be available to all the police stations. He also directed that at least 1,500 volunteers be deputed at those Ramazan bazaars declared sensitive so that the movement of any suspected person or vehicle in parking stands be identified.
