On Thursday Jamat-e-Islami Amir Munawwar Hassan strongly condemned Egyptian Army’s action against demonstrators in Cairo and termed it genocide of civilians. Alas! while showing so much concern in the internal affairs of a foreign country that also culminated in public processions by the party on Friday, not a single word has ever been uttered by the JI leader on the unabated havoc the Taliban have unleashed in his own country where bombing of mosques, funerals, parks, schools is an everyday affair spanning over past one decade. Let’s put our own house in order before passing reference on foreign governments. The kettle should not call pot black.
