SC forms JIT to probe fake bank accounts case

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has constituted a six-member Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to probe the matter of fake bank accounts involving Abdul Ghani Majeed, Asif Ali Zardari, Mrs Fryal Talpur and Zain Malik of Bahria Town.

A three-member bench of Supreme Court headed by the Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar and comprising Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Ijaz Ul Ahsan passed the order for setting up the JIT.

The CJP ordered to file the first report of the JIT within a period of 15 days from today.
