Mr Shah Mehmood Qureshi, ex-Foreign Minister has complained he was not invited to attend recent CEC meeting of ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) despite he was in Larkana. The attitude of Mr Qureshi towards his own party for the last many months was highly objectionable particularly when his portfolio was changed. Obviously, this made him annoyed and only after this, he suddenly came in public in the national interests by talking against his own party by copying the style of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. I think this noble and simple person was misguided and used by a strong lobby for their own agenda. Now only two ways are left for Mr Qureshi; either to resign from PPP or join the list of Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi, Ghulam Mustafa Khar, Sardar Farooq Laghari etc who after 'deserting PPP became 'zero or tender unconditional apology to PPP leadership and wait for their decision. The choice is with Mr Qureshi. In my opinion, Mr Qureshi must have moral courage to admit in public he was used by some quarters for their vested interests. Meanwhile, by this time, Mr Qureshi should have known he could not kill two birds with one stone. MOHAMMAD KHAN SIAL, Karachi, April 7.
