LAHORE City police have registered a fraud case against the editor, publisher and owner of an Urdu media organization on the complaint of Bank of Punjab, police said on Thursday. A senior official of the Bank of Punjab told this reporter that the man had got loans worth Rs 150 million to 200 million from the bank but did not payback the amount as per the schedule. Therefore, the Bank of Punjab approached the concerned police and lodged an FIR (No 312/11) under section (420/406 of the PPC) against the defaulters. The Civil Lines Police have registered the case and are investigating with no arrest made so far.
