ISLAMABAD (Online) The Parliamentary Commission constituted for the implementation of 18th Amendment on Thursday formally decided for devolution of ministry of sports, environment and women affairs to provinces till mid of the current month. The Parliamentary Committee met in Islamabad under the chair of Senator Raza Rabbani wherein federal secretaries of the three ministries besides secretaries of the cabinet division were also present. Raza Rabbani was of the view that the matter of Higher Education Commission was being unnecessarily hyped as the opponents were trying to politicise it for their vested interests. He said the employees of the devolved ministries would be respected and their problems would be solved on priority basis, and no one would be sacked. The commission is working under the diameter of the constitution and the devolution of ministries will be done accordingly, he opined.
