Short film festival opens

BUCHAREST (AFP) - The international short film festival NexT has opened in Bucharest for a fifth edition featuring 26 films from 19 countries. The festival which opened Wednesday is associated with Critics Week in Cannes and will host award-winning Romanian directors Marian Crisan and Radu Jude for the world premiere of their shorts Camelia and A Movie for Friends.The festival also includes comedy Strung Love, by Romanian Victor Dragomir and Belgian production Stardustas well as Chinese film Helpless and Australian short Deeper than Yesterday.
