AML, JI chiefs stand with Hafiz Saeed

LAHORE - Members of Difa-e-Pakistan Council, Awami Muslim League President Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad and JI chief Syed Munawar Hasan called on Jamaat-ud-Dawa ameer, Hafiz Saeed to express solidarity with him against the announcement of $10 million head money.
Both the AML and JI chiefs said that the alliance would constitute a high level delegation to meet the leaderships of all the religious and political parties for strengthening the movement against resumption of NATO supplies land route, which the DPC has been running for the last few months.
They added that the delegation would also invite the leaderships of other parties to chalk out a joint strategy to counter the US-India conspiracies for igniting sectarian riots in Gilgit-Baltistan.
They also warned the PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif against suggesting NATO supplies resumption in lieu of stopping drone attacks, and said it would amount to signing a death warrant for the entire nation.  Hafiz Saeed expressed gratitude for the support of the visiting leaders and the entire nation for expressing solidarity with him against the conspiracy by US and India.
He said that the bounty was announced only to deter the DPC against pressing ahead with campaigning against the resumption of NATO supplies.
He warned that the US and India were out to secede the mineral rich Gilgit and Baltistan from Pakistan.
