FC man among 4 dead in Balochistan

QUETTA - Four people, including an FC man, were killed in shooting incidents in different towns of Balochistan on Saturday.According to reports, unidentified armed men attacked an FC post in Barkhan, killing a security man and wounding another.The deceased was identified as Shafiullah and Nobat Khan sustained injuries. The assailants ran away when the security forces fought off the attack.  The deceased and injured were moved to hospital. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so for. In another incident, unidentified gunmen killed an ASI in Kalat, some 160KM southeast of Quetta. ASI Abdul Samad Sasoli was on his way when he came under the attack.In Quetta, two people were shot dead in two separate incidents of firing. Unidentified people shot a man dead in Brewery Road of Quetta. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Nasir. However, motive behind the killing could not be found till filing of this report. Separately, an angry passenger killed a bus driver on Sariab Road of Quetta, police said. Police quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the passenger and driver traded barbs over a petty issue.The deceased was identified as Rahim Bakhsh. The shooter fled after committing the crimes.Following the incident, transporters blocked Sariab Road to protest against the killing and demanded immediate arrest of the shooter.Meanwhile, the son of Colleges Director Sadullah went missing. Sadullah has lodged an FIR with the Gowalmandi police, saying that his 16-year-old son Iftikharullah went missing after he left the home on Friday evening. Police suspected that it could be a case of kidnapping for ransom. However, sources in family say they have not received any phone call from the kidnappers so far. Police have launched a hunt after registering the case.
