LAHORE – A 27-year-old motorcyclist and his mother were crushed to death when a rashly-driven truck bumped into their two-wheeler in Shahdara Town area, police said on Saturday.
Basharat Ali, of Jiya-Mosa, and his mother Nazeeran Bibi were on their way home when the recklessly-driven truck smashed into their bike (LZH-2447).
Both the woman and her son sustained multiple injuries and died on the spot.
The passers-by and motorists managed to capture the truck driver and handed him over to the police after a good thrashing. The police have registered the case and are investigating.
