LAHORE – President Asif Ali Zardari in a meeting with People’s Lawyers Forum members on Saturday showered praises on Punjab Governor Latif Khosa for remaining loyal with party leadership.
“I hold Governor Khosa in high esteem. He used to visit me in jail for seven years.” Zardari observed during a meeting with a delegation of Peoples Lawyers Forum.  The President also lauded the role of lawyers’ fraternity as a whole for the cause of democracy and civil rights. Towards close of the meeting, the PLF leaders presented shields to President Zardari, PM Gilani and Governor Khosa. The President was given shield for his efforts to keep democracy on track, while the PM and the Governor were given the same for adhering to the Constitution in discharge of their duties.
