LAKKI MARWAT - Two persons were killed in separate incidents in Wanda Michenkhel and Langerkhel areas of the district, police said on Saturday.

They said one Muhammad Nazir, a resident of Abbasa Khattak village was shot and injured over a blood feud by his rivals near Wanda Michenkhel in the jurisdiction of Dadiwala police station. They said that the wounded Nazir later succumbed to injuries in a hospital. They said a case was registered against the accused persons including Jehan Shah and Abdul Qayyum and investigation into the murder incident had been started.

In another incident, a farmer died when he touched a live electricity wire of power transmission line near Langerkhel village.

 Ummar Khan, 45, the resident of Wanda Jandar was going to Meer Azam Michenkhel village along with his camel early in the morning on Saturday. He touched the fallen electricity wire of a transmission line and died instantly. The deceased was later buried in a graveyard in Wanda Jandar village.
