KARACHI - At least four people were gunned down in separate acts of violence in the metropolis here on Sunday.

According to details, a 50-year-old man namely Rasool Khan was shot dead while Abdul Samad was injured in an armed attack by Abdul Rehman who is the uncle of Samad, in Islamia Colony within the precincts of Pirabad Police Station. The body and injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police said accused Rehman targeted his relatives on a minor family dispute and later managed to escape from the scene. Police were trying to intercept him and further investigation was underway. Sohrab Goth Police have found a bullet-riddled body of a man near New Sabzi Mandi at Super Highway. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities where victim was identified as 45-year-old Abdul Rehman, resident of Janjal Goth. Police suspected that personal enmity is the motive of his killing.

Similarly, police have found body of a man from bushes of Northern Bypass. Police shifted the body to ASH for autopsy and later moved to morgue for identification process. Police said that the victim after being killed was thrown into the bushes. Separately, a youth was shot dead near ZMC ground, Orangi Town within the remits of Mominabad Police Station. After being informed, police reached on the spot and shifted the body to ASH for post-mortem. Later the body was moved to morgue for identification.
