ANP to secure big mandate in elections: Bilour


PESHAWAR – ANP Senator, Ilyas Bilour Saturday expressed the confidence that Awami National Party would emerge as a big political force in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the forthcoming elections.
He said this while addressing a public meeting at Khwaja Town in PK-1 constituency from where his son Ghazanfar Bilour is candidate on ANP ticket.    
Senator Bilour said that ANP served the people in difficult time as militancy had plagued some parts of the province during last five years. He said during last five-year, government of ANP had fulfilled all its promises made in the elections-2008.
He said it is a great success of the democracy in Pakistan when the government has completed its constitutional tenure.
Senator Bilour said the completion of the mandated period would certainly help democracy to flourish in the country.
The ANP played a key role in the promotion of democracy, independence of judiciary and provincial autonomy.
He said that ANP is a bunch of people who believed in the great philosophy of Khudai Khidmatgar Baacha Khan. He made clear that ANP served the people without any political affiliation.He said passage of 18th amendment, achieving provincial autonomy and renaming the province were achievements of the government of ANP.
He said the ANP government took key steps for the development of education, healthcare, and constructions of roads.
On this occasion President PK-1, Nisar Khan, General Secretary Sakhwat Shah and local leaders Mian Fazal also spoke on this occasion.
