KARACHI – For smooth conduct of annual examination of SSC Part-I & II starting from today, Section 144 Cr. PC has been imposed in all the examination centres across the province.

All the DIGs, Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and SSPs have been directed to provide fool proof security to the candidates, teachers and other examination staff.

In this regard a central control room has been established at the Chief Minister Secretariat/ House which will monitor the examination process and will remain in touch with the control rooms established at Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur and Larkana, educational boards for immediate redressal of the complaints, problems and issues related to the examination. Police authorities concerned have been directed to focus the security measures at the sensitive examination centres and enhance the police deployment in such centres so that examination could be conducted in a peaceful and judicious manner without any fear.

The Chairman and Controller of all the educational boards have been directed to constitute vigilance teams for surprise visits to check the unfair means and taking strict actions against the copy culture mafia.

All the Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Assistant Commissioners and officers of the Education Department have also been asked to have a close coordination with officials and vigilance teams for provision of every possible help so that not only the examinations are conducted in a conducive manner but copy culture and unfair means could also be rooted out and persons involved in this heinous crime could be taken to task.

KESC, HESCO, SEPCO have also been directed to provide uninterrupted power supply to the examination centres in their respective areas so that candidates may not face any difficulty and disturbance during exam’s time.

For smooth conduct of the examination process Intermediate Board Chairman Professor Anwar Ahmed Zai has been declared as focal person.
