Ahsan stresses quality education for special kids

SIALKOT
Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ch Ahsan Iqbal has announced initiation of high classes at Govt Special Education Centre Narowal to provide higher education to special children at local level. He was addressing the participants of annual prize distribution ceremony at Government Special Education Centre Narowal here on Monday.
He stressed upon the parents and the teachers to focus their attention on the mental and physical growth of the special children to enable them to serve the nation in real manner.
MPA Khawaja Waseem Butt, Narowal DCO Syed Najaf Iqbal, centre's Principal Quratul Ain Rizwan, TMO Malik Abdul Sattar, senior educationists and people from all walks of life attended the ceremony.
Ahsan Iqbal expressed that the children were the future of the country.
He narrated that mother's cradle could be the best training institute for a child and no institution in the world was equivalent to that, whereas the mother's proper training to the children in childhood left strong impact on the lifelong personality of children.
He urged the mothers and teachers to spare no effort for the better physical, mental and educational growth of their children, particularly the special children, so that they could serve the nation in a better way in future.
Ahsan Iqbal stated that it was the prime responsibility of every one to provide better and secure future to the future generations.
Earlier, the Federal Minister distributed awards and prizes to special children for remarkable curriculum and extra-curriculum performance.
