Rs0.5m for Pakistan street soccer team


LAHORE – Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) president Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat announced Rs 500,000 cash reward for the Pakistan street soccer team for their fabulous performance at Brazil. Faisal said: "The team has earned big and unique honour for the country by defeating nations like America, India, Philippines and Mauritius. They have raised the country's flag high among the comity of nations. Now they will be brought into the main stream regular football by giving them advance training by qualified PFF coaches.” PFF secretary Lt Col (r) Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi said: "The young Pakistani children has done a great job and showed they have ability to defeat any team at international level. I also congratulate the Azad Foundation for providing this opportunity to these children.” Staff Reporter
