5 'fake' journalists held at Torkham border

KHYBER AGENCY - Border security forces arrested five alleged fake journalists when they were making video of sensitive installations on Pak-Afghan border at Torkham.
The officials of political administration said that five suspected persons identified as Mohammad Suleman, Said Rehman, Khairul Amin, residents of Peshawar and Shah Faisal and Khalilur Rehman of Landi Kotal pretending to be journalists were engaged in making videos of important installments when they were detained by border troops. "All the detainees were shifted to forces cantonment for investigation and from there they were handed over to the political administration Landi Kotal for further interrogation," sources said. When the Landi Kotal Press Club cabinet members contacted the President Peshawar Press Club about the arrested media persons, he refused to recognize them and said the arrested journalists had no relation with the Peshawar Press Club.
The forces issue NOC for reporting on Torkham border.
