Islamabad- Pakistan has strongly condemned terrorist act in Negour area of Iran, in which eight border guards were killed.

In a statement, Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said the government of Pakistan has conveyed sincere condolences, to members of the bereaved families and the government of Iran.

She said the concerned security agencies of Pakistan are actively investigating this incident, which took place on Iran’s territory, and have asked Iranian authorities to share with us any evidence, which they have.

The spokesperson said in case the culprits have crossed over to Pakistan after committing the crime on Iran’s soil, they will be apprehended and brought to justice.
