ISLAMABAD- According to a medical team designated for Pakistan’s former military chief, Pervez Musharraf is suffering from backache, neurological and cardiac issues.

The government had formed a medical team on the directives of an Anti Terrorist Court in an attempt to investigate Musharraf’s absence from the court hearing murder case of Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Bugti. Dr Farooq Azam presented a report on the health of Pervez Musharraf before the ATC judge. Bugti was murdered in an operation in Balochistan on Aug 26, 2006.

Jamil Bugti's lawyer, Sohail Rajput said, "We will challenge the medical report."

However, former Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao and Mir Shoaib Nowsherwani appeared before the court.
