ISLAMABAD - As many as 12 male and 16 female singles matches were played on the inaugural day of the World Table Tennis Day Masters Cup Tournament here on Tuesday.

In all, top 32 male and 16 female players from across the country are participating in the event and the winners will be awarded cash prizes along with medals, certificates. Pakistan Table Tennis Federation (PTTF) marked World Table Tennis Day in a befitting manner, while Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) is providing boarding/lodging, while OGDCL are the title sponsors.

All the seeded players in both male and female carved out easy victories against their respective opponents.
