Pakistan, Tajikistan agree to promote tourism

Pakistan and Tajikistan have agreed to establish a working group to strengthen tourism relations between the two countries, reported Radio Pakistan.

This was agreed during a meeting of a delegation of Tajikistan's National Tourism Institute and Pakistan Tourism development Corporation held in Islamabad on Saturday.           

Ambassador of Tajikistan to Pakistan Jononov Sherali was also present in the meeting.

PTDC and Tajikistan's National Tourism Institute also agreed to sign an agreement on cooperation in the tourism sector, which will help boost tourism for both countries.

Managing Director, PTDC Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor said Pakistan and Tajikistan have long-term brotherly relations  since long.

He said Pakistan is completely safe and secure place for tourists from all over the world.
