PTI to ensure resolution of local traders’ issues: Asad

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf candidate for NA-48 Islamabad bye-elections, Asad Umar, has said that their party would continue its struggle for addressing the years long grievances of the federal capital’s traders and take practical steps on priority basis as this is among the party’s priorities.
“Presently, the rent law and difficulties in tax payments are the major issues of Islamabad traders’ community and the PTI would raise their voice in and outside the parliament as well as at all other forums to ensure resolution of these genuine issues,” said Asad Umar while addressing gatherings of F-10 and G-10 sectors traders as part of his election campaign here on Wednesday.
On the occasion, Asad was accompanied by PTI Islamabad District President Aamir Mughal, Sardar Zahid, traders Tahir Abbasi, Ahmed Khan, Rana Saleem and Sheikh Shakeel, while a large number of traders attended these gatherings.The PTI leaders reiterated that their party would take the capital city’s trader organizations into confidence and with their consultation would devise policies regarding smooth tax reforms. While talking about smooth provision of potable water in all areas of the city, Asad promised installation of more water filtration plants in addition to maintaining water quality.
On the occasion, Asad Umar welcomed a large of PML-N traders, who joined the PTI. These disgruntled traders, in their remarks, said that they remained associated with the PML-N since long, however, none of the two big ruling parties - PPP and PML-N - did anything for the welfare of the traders community.
They also assured to extend their complete support to the PTI candidate for NA-48 during the upcoming bye-elections, as they want to see resolution of their genuine issues.
