If we all love our country and want its survival, let us make a national government. Party affiliation and empty slogans will have to be buried. I propose the following: make Aitzaz Ahsan the President and Shahbaz Sharif the Prime Minister. Lets put Sheikh Rashid in the Ministry of Interior and Raza Rabbani in External Affairs. Shaukat Tarin should retain Finance. The rest of the cabinet should be left at the discretion of the PM with the 17th amendment and 58-2 B repealed in one stroke. All corruption cases, regardless of party affiliations, should be handed over to an Accountability Commission with a maximum of 8 months given to resolve them or pronounce a judgment. Accountability Commission should have hundreds of courts to dispose off the cases, with no right of appeal. These courts are to be headed by honest and able retired judges.
