ISLAMABAD - Al Baqarah Strikers outclassed Al-Iqra Patriots by 10 wickets in the final of the 2nd Zalmi Madrassa League. Governor Balochistan Justice R Aman Ullah Khan distributed prizes among the players, while Zalmi Foundation Chairman Javed Afridi promised he will take ZML to other provinces as well. Al-Iqra, batting first, scored 79-7. Ata Ullah scored 24 and Shabbir Ahmed 13. Nasir Jan picked up 2-15 and Aurangzeb got 1-17. Al Baqarah Strikers chased the target in 5.4 overs. Idrees hammered 59 and Shehzad Farid hit 15. Idrees was declared man of the final. Al-Baqarah Strikers’ Muhammad Aurangzeb won player of the tournament award, Jaffar Ali won the best batsman award and Wazir Khan won man of the series award.
