Attock-Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Baitulmal Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari has said that during the last three years, more than Rs8 billion have been allocated for different development projects for the development of his constituency PP-1 Attock and prosperity of its people. He was talking to journalists at his residence in Attock. Focal Person PTI Syed Khawar Abbas Bukhari was also present. Provincial Minister while giving details of the development projects and funds allocated said that at present different development projects costing more than Rs6 billion are under completion which include Mother and Child Health Care Hospital, upgradation of DHQ Hospital Attock, Gondal Trauma Center, Model Children Home, Social Services Unit, and establishment of Rescue 1122 field offices in village Sheenbagh and Durdad.
Talking about road sector, the minister said that approval for dualisation of Teenmela Haji Shah Road has been given, while work on Dheri Legal Sanjwal Road, Golra Road is in progress. The provincial minister said that in education sector, 23 public schools had been upgraded while new building of Government Girls School Sanjwal had been built as the school had been running in a rented building since long. Yawar Bukhari said that approval for establishment of Attock University had also been given. Replying to a question about sports sector development, he said that a football stadium at Dhok Fateh Attock and cricket stadium at village Bolianwal will be built while boundary wall of PCB Ground Attock had been built.
