11 persons injured in gas leakage blast

PESHAWAR - At least 11 persons were injured in gas leakage blast here on Friday. Sources said that the house was owned by Ali Haider and was situated on Dawari Road. The blast also caused damage to some portion of the house and resulted injury of 11 persons including six children. Soon after the incident rescue 1122 and other volunteers rushed towards the site and retrieved the injured persons from the site.
They were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar where they were identified Zarghona, 45, Bebira, 50, Robian, 20, Hameeda, 30, Salma, 15, Musafar, 9, Ibrahim, 7, and Ali Haider, the owner of the house.
Some of the injured are in critical condition and have been shifted to burn unit of the Lady Reading hospital.
Meanwhile a bomb planted in front of a house was exploded with big bang in Danish Abad area; however no casualty was reported. Police said that unknown person has planed explosive on roadside near a house. The blast resulted partial damage of a house.
