ISLAMABAD - Nepra has stopped K-Electric (KESC) from the collection of additional Rs8 per bill from its consumers and declared that a decision to pay back the collected amount to the power consumers would be made later on. Informed sources told that KESC was collecting Rs14.23 per bill from its consumers unlawfully as the power utility could collect only Rs6.23 per bill from the consumers.  However, a decision to pay back the additional collection to the consumers would be made later, they added.
