QUETTA - At least two suspected militants of a banned outfit were killed and 35 others were arrested during a search operation by Frontier Corps in Sariyab and adjoining areas of the city on Sunday.

According to an FC spokesperson, arms including two hand grenades, two short machineguns (SMGs), one Makarov pistol, one shotgun, seven TT pistols, one 9mm pistol, two 30 bore pistols and several rounds were also recovered from the suspects.

The death toll from Saturday suicide bomb blast in Quetta has reached 12.

Meanwhile, a case of the blast has also been registered in Civil Lines police station by Senior House Officer (SHO) Ajab Khan against unidentified terrorists.

Sections of murder, attempt to murder, anti-terrorism act and others were included in the First Information Report (FIR).
