Islamabad - Islamabad police have arrested six outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered weapons as well as stolen property from their possession, a police spokesman said yesterday.
According to details, Sabzi Mandi police arrested accused Umer Nawaz Khan and recovered one 30-bore pistol along with ammunition. Bhara Kahu police arrested two accused Qamer Abbasi and Muhammad Irfan involved in blocking road. Sihala police arrested accused Saddam Khan and recovered one 30-bore illicit pistol along with amounting and stolen property from him. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city and curb activities of anti-social elements.
Meanwhile, Rawalpindi police raided an illegal gas re-filling point here yesterday, arrested two persons and seized filling instruments from their possession, informed police spokesman.
According to detail, Saddar Wah police conducted raid and arrested Bilal and Naseer on the charges of filling gas illegally, besides recovering instruments from their custody. Police have registered separate cases against both of them and started investigation.
