The Thal Writer Club (TWC) organised a seminar in connection with Kashmir Day. Prominent educationist Prof Sheikh Abdul Latif presided over the seminar while Tehsil Bar Association (TBA) President Malik Mushtaq Hussain Borana graced the occasion as chief guest.

Malik Muhammad Hussain Qadri conducted the proceedings.

Speakers highlighted importance of the day and expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir. They demanded that the international community in general and the world bodies in particular should intervene and force India to stop shedding innocent Kashmiris’ blood. The Kashmiris should have the right to decide their fate according to the UN resolutions, they said.

A large number of people including local politicians, teachers, students, journalists, traders and religious scholars attended the ceremony.

EARLY COMPLETION OF UPLIFT: MPA Malik Muhammad Waris Kallu has said that special emphasis is being put on infrastructure development, communication network, higher education and health sector in Thal.

He was talking to different delegations of social workers who called on him here at Kallu House.

The MPA pointed out that it has been his utmost effort to overview pace of progress on all the mega projects in Thal and ensure timely completion.

He also urged the people of Thal to fully concentrate on educating their children and get them fully benefited from the facilities being provided by the government.

He also mentioned the importance of road network development in Thal and further observed that completion of all the ongoing projects will ensure balanced development in the villages of Thal.
