KABUL (APP) - President Asif Ali Zardari and his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai held another exclusive meeting on Wednesday and discussed bilateral matters of interest. The meeting that took place at breakfast was the second one-on-one meeting in two days that focused on discussing political and security situation in the region. The two presidents held fresh talks in the morning after yesterday's pledge to work together to fight terrorism and extremism along their common border. Both reiterated their resolve to improve relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan for the betterment of their peoples. The two sides discussed the ways to strengthen bilateral relations at political, trade and cultural levels. On Tuesday, President Zardari and President Karzai hailed what the Afghan leader called a "new relationship" between the neighbouring countries and said they would work together and with the international community to combat extremists. "We intend to work towards a better tomorrow," said President Zardari, who made his first official visit to Afghanistan since taking office last Sep.
