PESHAWAR - At least three persons have been killed and eight others, including five personnel of the security forces, injured in different incidents of violence while a son of the District Revenue Officer (DRO), Swat, has been kidnapped, sources disclosed on Wednesday. According to the sources, five security personnel were injured when some militants attacked their check-post in Bara Bandi area of Kabal. Security force in retaliation targeted militants suspected hideouts with mortars shells. One of the shells accidentally hit the house of a person namely Aurangzeb. As a result of the incident, his daughter was killed and three others, identified as Bukht Muneer, Roidad Ali and Tahir Shah, were injured. All the injured were later rushed to a hospital in Saidu Sharif. Moreover, a dead body, identified of Shuja Khan, has been recovered from a water tank. Some unknown persons had killed him prior to throwing his body in the nearby water tank. In another incident, a person was killed in Agahl Bar Thana. The killers successfully managed to escape after killing him. Meanwhile, some unknown militants kidnapped a son of DRO, Swat, Sultanat Khan and shifted him to an unknown location. He was a paramedical student. On the other hand, security forces announced that curfew would remain imposed in Mingora from 10:00pm 6:00am. The forces also announced that no one should come out of home during the said hours.
