LAHORE - In connection with its drive for ensuring enforcement of building regulations in its scheme area, staff of the Town Planning Wing of Lahore Development Authority completely or partially demolished as many as nine structures besides sealing another one, which were being constructed in violation of building bye-laws, in Johar Town and Allama Iqbal Town on Saturday.

Under the supervision of Syed Nadeem Akhter Zaidi, Director Town Planning, the LDA staff completely knocked down five commercial buildings that were being illegally constructed on plots number 6 and 7 of J Block, 12-A of K Block, 30 of Block R1, 7 of block F2 in Johar Town besides partially demolishing the construction on plot No 429 Block E and sealing the structure on plot No 14 Block J3.

Two other structures, situated on plot No 356 & 372 of Kashmir Block Allama Iqbal Town, were also demolished partially by LDA staff for violation of building bye-laws.
