SADAR GOGERA - A man was killed while another seriously injured due to marriage dispute in the suburbs of Gogera on Saturday.
Muhammad Yar, resident of Thatha Hasunka, was wanted to tie his daughter’s knot with his relative Muhammad Ishaq but his brothers Jafar Hussain and Ahmad Yar did not like this engagement.
On Friday, when the engagement ceremony of Ishaq was going on at Ishaq’s house, Jafar and Ahmad attacked his house with their 15 other companions and opened fire. Resultantly Ishaq’s cousin Ashiq Ali died at the spot while his elder brother Khalid Hussain seriously injured which was referred to Lahore in critical condition. Gogera Police have registered a case against 17 accused.
