Six people die in Jhang


JHANG - Six people including a woman were killed and 10 others received serious injuries in separate incidents here.
In the first incident, 13-year-old Tamour.Shah was killed while his father Ghulam.Nabi.Shah, his brother Ghulam Rasool.Shah, Babar. Nasir, Tahir, Sanaullah, Nadeem, Faizan.Ali and Shahid. Ali were seriously injured. Ghulam Nabi, a resident of Mouza Sheikh Chohar, was refilling a gas cylinder in his shop. All of a sudden, the cylinder burst with a big bang and a fire broke out. Resultantly, the child died on the spot and 8 others injured were admitted to the DHQ Hospital Jhang. Ghulam Nabi and Ghulam Rasool were stated to be in critical condition. In the second incident, two brothers Mumtaz and Sarfraz, residents of Qadarpur Bhakhsha shot their sister Zahida dead for honour. They had been suspecting her of having illicit relations with someone. In another incident, Muhammad Abbas and Shahid Ali, residents of Chak 184-JB, were killed when another Shahid who was drunk while driving hit his car against a house and broke the outer wall of a room. Resultantly,.Abbas and Shahid. who were asleep in the room were killed. Car driver Shahid and his friend Chand were injured.
In another incident, an unknown person was shot dead by some armed dacoits near Chak Ghamey Shah. The dacoits tried to snatch cash and mobile from the person and on resistance, shot him dead.
Similarly, a 65-year-old person who was going to Khanewal through Hazara Express via Shorkot from Rawalpindi fell down from a train near Shorkot and died.
