LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday said that rivals were scared of the rising popularity of the PML-N. Due to politics of public service, he said that the popularity graph of the PML-N was rising day by day. “After glorious victory in by-elections, the party is poised to win the general elections,” said CM. While talking to the party leader from Faisalabad who called on him, the CM said that the political opponents were afraid of the increasing popularity of PML-N. He highlighted the significance of holding general elections in time for stability of the country. He said that the designs of imported elements would be foiled. Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah Khan, former Speaker Punjab Assembly Afzal Sahi, Talal Chaudhary, Haji Muhammad Sharif, Rajab Baloch, Israr Khan and Farooq Khan were also present on the occasion. Political situation and organizational matters of the party also came under discussion at the meeting.
